I'm Hosting a WiP Screening
“The Co-op: The Kids of Dorie Miller” a feature documentary produced by my friend and fellow filmmaker Joanna Rudolph and directed by Paulina Davis is having a work-in-progress screening this Sunday.
This film dives into Paulina’s childhood home and the powerful legacy of cooperative housing, connecting an old solution to today’s affordable housing crisis.
Supported by Firelight Media, the California Film Institute’s DocPitch, NYSCA, and Cucalorus/Working Films, this project is already making waves.
When: Sunday, November 9, 2025
Time: 1–3 PM
Where: The Colony, 22 Rock City Rd, Woodstock, NY 12498
We will be showing a 10-min sample of the documentary.
A New Yorker explores her family’s roots in New York City’s first unsegregated housing co-op, finding and examining an old solution to the current homeownership crisis.
Free to attend. Complimentary Light Bites. Cash Bar. Donations welcome.
I’ll be moderating a post-screening conversation with the filmmaking team.
